Property and Cancelation Policies :
2)Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
3)Partial payments are refundable only if cancellation is done one month before the check in date.
4)Please remember we have a limited accommodation therefore we have to keep our cancellation policy non-negotiable.
5)In the eventuality of a landslide, snow, or other natural disasters that makes reaching Meena Bagh Shimla impossible, we can always postpone your reservation.
6)We would not however be able to issue a refund if the cancellation is done within 7 days of the check in.
Terms and Conditions
We have a strict NO NOISE policy.
No noise should reach outdoors please. For this reason kindly keep the doors and windows firmly shut at all times. This will also keep the nosy Rhesus monkeys and insects at bay.
Kindly do not play loud music after 8 p.m. Noise tends to amplify in the quite.Our guests come for tranquillity and Shimla residents are not fully accustomed to noisy travellers.
(If our No Noise policy is violated, we will not be obliged to offer you our complimentary breakfast the following morning. For repeat offenders we will be forced to cancel the reservation straightaway and report you to the authorities)
HOUSE MANUAL
1) Kindly do not tinker with the knobs or electricals.
2) Meena Bagh Shimla is a plastic free zone. Help us keep it that way. Please avoid getting plastic bags, bottles etc. into the compound.
3) We do not provide plastic packaged drinking water. Instead we offer water dispensers with unlimited hot, cold and normal temperature water.
4) Kindly inform us at the time of booking if you are coming with a driver who needs accommodation. We can provide driver’s accommodation at 450 rupees per day per driver.
5) Do also inform us if you are coming with any pets. If yes then Kindly book either the Pahari Cabin or the Himachali Cottage.
6) Smoking is allowed in the balconies only.
7) We would be grateful if guests adhere to the Check Out time (11 a.m.), especially when we have a reservation that day.
8) Breakfast will be served till 10 a.m. only.
9) We would however be happy to offer a late checkout wherever possible. Kindly check with the caretaker about late checkouts.
10)We will also be happy to offer an early check-in, subject to availability. For check-ins before 11 am it will be 200 rupees per hour per room till 2pm.
11) We expect our guests to switch off all electricals, especially radiator heaters, when not in the room.
12) No outside guests or visitors allowed please.
13) We use recycled water for our cisterns. Therefore do not be alarmed if the water is not exactly crystal clear in the pot.
14) We use solar heaters. It can take over two minutes before the hot water to reach the taps.
